Hannah Runkel
I’m Hannah (she/her), an openly queer therapist-in-training who approaches therapy through a systemic and relational lens. I believe our lives are shaped by the relationships, communities, cultures, and experiences that surround us, and that healing happens when we can better understand those connections while developing a deeper relationship with ourselves. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in curiosity, compassion, and authenticity. I am especially drawn to Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, as well as experiential approaches that incorporate movement and embodiment, recognizing that healing often involves both mind and body.
I strive to create a space where all identities, experiences, and ways of being are welcomed and honored. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating identity exploration, religious trauma and spiritual hurt, neurodivergence, life transitions, and the ongoing process of becoming more fully themselves. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Areas I Support Clients With
- LGBTQIA+ affirming care and identity exploration
- Religious trauma, spiritual harm, and deconstruction
- Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, and self-understanding)
- Life transitions and personal growth
- Self-compassion and parts work (IFS-informed)
- Relationship and family dynamics
- Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
- Exploring authenticity, belonging, and self-discovery
