PRE-BABY COUNSELING
Bringing a baby into your life is one of the most profound transitions you’ll ever experience. While so much focus is placed on pregnancy and birth, it’s just as important to prepare emotionally, mentally, and relationally for the changes ahead.
Pre-Baby Counseling is a structured, psychoeducational series of about 7–10 sessions, offered by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Sarah Gray. It’s designed to help individuals and couples move through this life-changing season with greater confidence, clarity, and connection.
Together we may explore topics such as:
Navigating how life, roles, and sense of self change when becoming a mom or dad
Communication and conflict management as parents
Expectations versus realities of early parenthood
Mental-health awareness and self-care planning
Division of household and childcare responsibilities
Nurturing intimacy and partnership after baby
Building your support system
Processing fears, hopes, and the unknowns of parenthood
This curriculum draws inspiration from the Prepare/Enrich framework, Sarah’s own postpartum experiences, and the themes she hears most often from new parents. It’s grounded in evidence-based resources on perinatal and postpartum mental health, blending research, clinical insight, and lived experience to help you feel informed and supported.
This is a supportive, educational, and reflective space to process what’s happening now and prepare for what’s ahead. Whether you’re expecting your first baby, adding another little one, or preparing to parent solo, these sessions help you feel grounded and intentional as you step into this new chapter.
Sessions are available in 50-minute and 90-minute formats, starting at $165, so you can choose the pace and depth that feel right for you. Contact Sarah at sarah@authentic-growth.com for more information
