Carly Baskin, MMFT Student Intern

Clinical Intern

ME AS A PERSON

Hi yall! My name is Carly (she/her) and I am the rare and mythical Nashville native. When I’m not working or at school you can find me spending time with my husband and our 3 Labrador pups (Hanky, River, and Mango), or at a local trivia night. I love board games, books, drag shows, and bad reality television.

MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH IS:

Compassionate
Empathetic
Non-judgmental
Goal-oriented
Affirming
Collaborative
Culturally sensitive
Person-centered
Inclusive

MY TRAINING

I graduated with my Bachelors in Liberal Studies from Belmont University in 2022 and am currently a student in the Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy at Belmont University, under the clinical supervision of Cadey Phipps, LMFT. In addition to my program course work I am also working on certifications in Transgender Affirmative Mental Health Care and LGBTQIA Affirmative Therapy through the Modern Sexy Therapy Institute.
